2011 Chamber Music Series begins Jan. 30

VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art and the Atlantic Classical Orchestra’s partnership will enter its third season in 2011. Internationally acclaimed, Grammy Award nominee and ACO music director Stewart Robertson will once again host this superlative chamber music series on stage in the Museum’s intimate and acoustically superb Leonhardt Auditorium. Series Tickets are $100 for the general public and $75 for Museum members for all three superlative Chamber Concerts.  Individual Tickets for single concerts are $40 for the general public and $30 for Museum members.

Chamber Concert I on Sunday, January 30 at 4 pm: The Magic of the Flute

ACO Principal Flautist Cristina Burr offers a program of favorites for flute, including Debussy’s classic and intriguing Syrinx for solo flute, Fritz Kreisler’s virtuoso showpiece originally for violin and Sergei Prokofiev’s classic Flute Sonata.
