VERO BEACH — Chief Deputy Clerk of Indian River County Circuit Court Jeffrey R. Smith addressed members of Exchange Club of Indian River at their December 1 luncheon meeting at Culinary Capers. He discussed the office’s statutory responsibilities of maintaining court records and collecting all court-related fines and fees and serving as the accountant and the official record keeper for the Board of County Commissioners. Smith is a member and past president of Exchange Club of Indian River and the current president of Florida Government Finance Officers Association. Exchange Club of Indian River meets for lunch at Culinary Capers each Wednesday at noon.
