Fourth annual Dog Walk for Rescue Animals

SEBASTIAN — Join H.A.L.O. Rescue on Saturday, December 11 for the fourth annual Walk for Rescue Animals, and show your support for the only no-kill animal shelter in Indian River County.  Registration begins at the Riverview Park splash pad in Sebastian at 10:30 a.m., and the walk begins at 11 a.m.

The two mile walk along the river ends at H.A.L.O. Rescue, where there will be food and refreshments, a K-9 demonstration, music, a dog wash and nail trimming, games, raffles, a yard sale, and fun for all.

Enter the Poker Walk – collect playing cards at different stations, including Earl’s Hideaway and Suzi’s Tiki Bar, along the walk; the player with the best poker hand will win a fantastic two night stay compliments of the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Vero Beach.

Start collecting donations now, get pledges from your friends and family because this year’s top dog walk fundraiser will receive a two night stay at Captain Hiram’s Resort in Sebastian.  Other great prizes will be awarded for the top five fundraisers.

If you can’t attend, but still want to help, collect donations and sponsor one of our available rescue dogs to be walked by one of our great volunteers- in your honor.
