VERO BEACH — The Friends of the Vero Beach Museum of Art, once again present Christmas at the Museum on Sunday, December 5. This free one-day holiday celebration for children of all ages begins at 1 pm and continues through 4 pm. The Museum’s holiday party is free of charge for all the children and families of the Treasure Coast as a gift of gratitude from the Museum’s Board of Trustees, staff, and the Friends of the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
There will be free exhibition admission for the William Wegman: Fay exhibition as well as a free William Wegman film in Studio One featuring his beloved Weimariner titled “Fay’s Twelve Days of Christmas.”
Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary juice and cookies and Storytelling in the Holmes Great Hall.
Entertainment in the Museum’s Leonhardt Auditorium includes: Serendipity Dancers (1:30 pm); Vero Beach High School Chorus (2 pm); Riverside Star Troop (2:30 pm); Osceola Magnet School (3 pm); and Beachland Elementary (3:30 pm).
Santa Claus will arrive at 2 pm to hear the dreams and wishes of good little girls and boys in the Museum’s Stark Rotunda. All attendees are also invited to create their own free Holiday Crafts in the Studio Classrooms.
