Frank G. deWaters Jr., 90, died Nov. 18, 2010, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Norwalk, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach.
In 1946, he joined his father as a partner in F.G. deWaters and Son Industrial Hardware in South Norwalk, Conn., from which he retired in 1986.
He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.
He graduated cum laude from Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in economics and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
He was a member of the Norwalk Shore and Country Club and the Mariner Sands Country Club, Stuart.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean Roberts deWaters; and daughters, Emilie Lander and Roberta deWaters, both of Manchester, N.H.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 29 at the Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk, followed by interment at the Rowayton Union Cemetery in Rowayton, Conn.
