VERO BEACH — On Wednesday, November 10, Bob Evans Restaurant will be donating fifteen percent of sales to The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB & IRC) when guests dine any time between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. Patrons must present a special Humane Society flyer in order for the shelter to benefit. Flyers can be obtained at the Humane Society, its thrift shops, local stores in the community or by e-mailing the shelter at ccotherman@hsvb.org
Guests will be able to see photos and profiles of animals available for adoption. The shelter will also have staff on hand between 4 to 9 p.m. to issue free pet ID tags and will gladly speak with restaurant patrons about the Humane Society’s many other animal protection and care services. The shelter’s mascot, Max the Lovable Mutt, will also be on hand that evening to welcome patrons. The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and helping the animals of Indian River County.
