VERO BEACH — Award winning violinist, Maryna Yermolenko, will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D Major during the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony’s fall concert, PASTICHE. In Vero Beach, PASTICHE will be presented at the Waxlax Center for the Performing Arts in Vero Beach at 7 p.m. Monday, November 8. There will be open seating with tickets available at the door only.
Maryna, a native of the Ukraine, is a winner of acclaimed solo and chamber music competitions in her homeland, in international competitions and in the United States. She has performed in Russian, Ukrainian, European and American cities as a soloist and in chamber ensembles, and has appeared with the Kiev National Symphony Orchestra, the Kiev Youth Orchestra and the Atlantic Classical Orchestra. Maryna is an alumna of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony and is currently a student of world re-known violinist, Elmar Oliveira, at Lynn University Conservatory of Music.
The Treasure Coast Youth Symphony’s program, PASTICHE, also features the magnificent and exotic Scheherazade, Rimsky Korsakov’s musical interpretation of 1001 Arabian Nights, Sibelius’s beloved Finlandia and the William Tell Overture by Rossini.
The Treasure Coast Youth Symphony is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization composed of the most talented student musicians from Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and northern Palm Beach counties. Conductors are Dr. John Enyart (founder), Mr. Ben Enyart and Mr. Thomas Servinsky.
The mission of the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony is to provide challenging experiences in orchestral and individual performance for student musicians, to broaden their technical skills and artistic expression, to instill professionalism, and to enhance enjoyment of the musical talents individually and for their audiences.
