VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Museum of Art is pleased to present its Nineteenth Annual Antiques Show and Sale the weekend of January 7, 8 and 9. Admission to the show is $10 and includes re-admission throughout the weekend.
On the evening of Thursday, January 6, a Patron Champagne Reception will be held from 5 to 6 pm which includes party attendance until 8:30 pm. Tickets for the Patron Reception are $150 per person. The Preview Party on the same evening runs from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. Preview Party tickets are $100 per person. Patron and Preview tickets include re-admission throughout the weekend.
Show manager Charles Miller of Chapel Hill, NC returns with 38 excellent dealers-the majority of which will present an exceptional variety of 18th and 19th century Americana including furniture, jewelry, art, glassware, porcelains, collectibles, and more. The show will also include specialty dealers who will offer fine Chinese provincial furniture and accessories, English and French Majolica, antiquarian books, and antique and semi-antique oriental rugs from Persia, China, and other exotic eastern lands, among others
Appraisals will be available daily in the Museum’s Leonhardt Auditorium from 10 am to 3 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 2 pm Sunday at a cost of $15 per item (plus show admission charge) with a 3 item maximum. The Museum’s Chelsea’s @ The Museum Café in the new Laura and Bill Buck Atrium will be open throughout the show for visitors.
Included with show admission, visitors will also be able to enjoy the popular photographic exhibition WILLIAM WEGMAN: Fay on view in the Museum’s Holmes Gallery. The exhibition features over 50 of the renowned photographer’s fun and endearing portraits of his beloved Weimaraner Fay.
