VERO BEACH — Indian River Medical Center Foundation volunteers are planning the 21st Annual Swing for Health Golf Classic, set for Monday, December 6 at Hawk’s Nest Golf Club in Vero Beach.
Registration will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m., with a 12:00 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $275 per player or $1,100 per foursome, which includes a boxed lunch, round of golf, open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres and prizes.
Phantom golfers (non-players) at $125 per person are offered a chance to win prizes by “teaming” with a selected foursome and enjoy the open bar and hors d’oeuvres at the conclusion of the tournament.
Tournament chairs, Dr. Bill Cooney and Sam Murdough, along with committee members Jim Davis, Cheryl Deacon, David Osgood and Debbie Sheridan are partnering with hospital vendors, local businesses and other members of the community to produce another successful event.
