George William Pray, 87, Vero Beach

George William Pray, 87, died Oct. 25, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.

He was born in Providence, R.I., and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Plainville, Mass. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II.

Before retiring, he was a sales representative in the manufacturing industry.

He was a member of the Plainville Lions Club.

Survivors by his wife of 63 years, Jeannette Pray, of Vero Beach; daughter, Judy Pray Sewart, of Dunedin; sons, Larry Pray, of Mesa, Ariz., Michael Pray, of Norton, Mass., and Sean Pray, of Mansfield, Mass; sister, Barbara Lee, of Providence; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A memorial service will be at a later date in Massachusetts.

Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
