VERO BEACH — Dr. Wil Blechman will be the guest speaker at the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition’s Annual Meeting on Friday, November 5 at the Community Hall of the Community Church of Vero Beach. Breakfast begins at 8:30 a.m.
Blechman has been lecturing and teaching about the effects of early childhood experiences on infant brain development since 1995. A graduate of Yale University and the Medical College of Virginia, Blechman trained at the John Hopkins Hospital, is Board Certified in internal medicine and rheumatology, and is an Emeritus Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.
Blechman’s workshops have changed the way we perceive the importance of early childhood. They refresh our knowledge of brain development and make the link between childhood experiences and how our future workforce is being impacted.
