Seacoast’s Party in the Park raises funds for FOOLS AS ONE

VERO BEACH — Seacoast National Bank hosted its first annual “Party in the Park” event at its SR 60 branch in Vero Beach on Saturday, October 16. FOOLS AS ONE (Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society), the nonprofit recipient of event proceeds, joined the bank to organize the inaugural event. Community safety was this year’s theme with highlights including “touch a truck” displays, fire safety demonstrations. Crafts and games included pumpkin decorating, sand art, spin art Frisbees and carnival games for children of all ages.

Additionally, nonperishable food donations were accepted in lieu of admission fee for the Bill Brooks’ Food for Families holiday food drive, which is currently underway from Palm Beach to Indian River County through November 22, is co-sponsored by Seacoast National Bank and WPTV Channel 5.  Donations for the food drive can be made at any Seacoast National Bank location. Indian River County donations will be delivered to Harvest Food & Outreach Center for the Emergency Food Box pantry and distributed to families in need during the holiday season.
