Margarita de la Rocha, 100, died Oct. 12, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and moved to Vero Beach in 1996, coming from Miami. Before retirement, she worked as a secretary for the Department of Revenue, State of Florida.
She was a member of Living Lord Lutheran Church in Vero Beach. She was also a member of the Friendship Club and Council On Aging.
Survivors include her daughters, Victoria M. Phillips, of Vero Beach, and Elvira M. Bernstein, of Miramar; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nellie Azar, Estella Mejia and Lillian Ricart; and brother, Alejandro Ricart.
Memorial contributions may be made to Living Lord Lutheran Church, 2725 58th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32966.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at Living Lord Lutheran Church in Vero Beach with the Rev. David Charlton officiating.
Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
