Joseph Alfonso Jr., 48, died Oct. 9, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for two years, coming from Radford, Va. Survivors include his fiancé of 10 years, Nancy Moles, of Vero Beach; daughters, Nicole Whiteskunk and Angela Alfonso, both of Oklahoma and Tina Marie Alfonso, of New Jersey; sons, Joseph Joseph Alfonso II and Anthony Alfonso, both of New Jersey; brother, Michael Alfonso, of Vero Beach; sister, Donnamarie Cardell, of Vero Beach; stepbrother, Michael Burdge, of Vero Beach; stepsisters, Jennifer Holmes and Rachael Ryan, both of Tennessee; stepmother, Pamela Alfonso, of Vero Beach; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gabriella Marisa Alfonso, and parents, Joseph J. Alfonso Sr. and Elsie F. Alfonso.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Oct. 15 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian.
