Aaileah DeShaun Stokes, infant, died Oct. 3, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

She was born in Vero Beach. Survivors include her mother, Beverly Lewi,s of Vero Beach; father, Deshaun Stokes, of Vero Beach; brother, Jaheim Gordon, of Vero Beach; maternal grandmother, Theresa Lewis, of Gifford; and grandfather, Carlton Bryant, of Gifford.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Gifford.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 9 at Humble Church of God in Christ in Gifford.

Burial will follow at Gifford Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel. A guestbook may be signed at stonebrothersfuneralhome.com.

Together: Gifford MLK parade, program brings unity, music, performances

GIFFORD — The spirit of solidarity flourished at the Martin Luther King Jr. Parade along 45th Street, where residents gathered to see creative floats, marching band performances and banners showing King's image along with some of his famous quotes.
