INDIAN RIVER COUNTY – Welcome to the 2010 edition VeroNews.com’s Election Section.
We have put together a special area filled with just about anything you might need or want to know about the upcoming General Election Nov. 2 in Indian River County. From locations of voting precincts and the demographics of those precincts, to candidates’ responses to our questionnaire and on-camera interviews – we have worked hard to anticipate voters’ needs.
If you feel that something is lacking within our section, please let us know.
While checking out the section, be sure to sample the candidate interviews caught on video – some produced in our studio, others during candidate debates around the county.
This week is rather busy with several candidate forums. Rest assured, we plan to cover those forums with articles and videos to further educate the public.
In the meantime, we have some videos from candidate forums during the August Primary campaigns to whet your appetite.
On the right hand side of your screen, you should notice a menu called “On the Ballot.” There, you can find out what candidates are running in which races, what proposed constitutional amendments voters will decide on, and other ballot questions.
We hope that you and other interested voters will take time to peruse the section and get acquainted with the candidates and issues before casting your ballot.
Early voting begins Oct. 18 and runs daily through Oct. 30, except for Sunday.
Take care,
Debbie Carson
