Norwood “Kordie” Anderson, 72, died Sept. 24, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
He was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., and lived in Sebastian since 1987, coming from Bloomsbury, N.J. Before retirement, he was a truck driver for Johnsmanville Inc., in Manville, N.J., for 28 years.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Ann; sons, Thomas Edward Anderson, of Ottsville, Pa., and Kurt N. Anderson, of Northam, Pa.; daughters, Karla Lamendola, of Pittstown, N.J., Jill Trimmer, of Milford, N.J., Jean Karpenko, of Pillsburg, N.J., and Kathryn Kullman, of Baptistown, N.J.; stepson, Thomas Bettuccio, of Sebastian; stepdaughters Josie Hoyt, of West Easton, Pa., Joy Bettuccio, of West Easton, Pa., and Jill Semberi, of Alpha, N.J.; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Moore officiating.
An out-of-town memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pittstown, N.J.
