Richard William Hollenbeck, 43, died Sept. 7, 2010, in Sebastian.
He was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and lived in Sebastian since 1988.
He was a state animal control officer for Indian River County since 1988.
Survivors include his wife, August Dee; sons, Ian Richard Hollenbeck, of Vero Beach, and Zander William Kai Hollenbeck, of Sebastian; daughter, Alora Meda-Rae Hollenbeck, of Sebastian; stepdaughter, Lizzy-Kate Miller, of Sebastian; parents, Howard Ellis and Shirley Anne Hollenbeck, of Sebastian; brothers, Eddy Hollenbeck, of Slidell, La., and Howie Hollenbeck Jr., of Sebastian; and sisters, Sherri Hollenbeck, of San Rafael, Calif., and Nancy Stephens, of Bradenton.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian.
