Peter George Petropoulos, 79, died Sept. 21, 2010, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 18 years, coming from Randolph, N.J. Before retirement, he was the owner and principal software engineer of a computer software firm. He graduated from Rutgers University.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Doris; son, Greg Petropoulos, of Sewanee, Tenn.; daughter, Tovi Kiss, of Holland, Mich.; sister, Helen Cap of West Orange, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Persephone.
