Lloyd R. Enix, 85, died Sept. 18, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
He was born in Detroit, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach for 25 years coming from Plymouth, Mich.
Enix was a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich., earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
He worked as a purchasing analyst for the Ford Motor Company for 38 years before his retirement in 1984.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the World War II. He was a member of the Vero Beach Veterans.
Enix was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1822, Vero Beach and the Lions Club, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Birdie; son, Lloyd R. Enix, Jr., of Smithville, Va.; daughter, Laura Glidden, of Woodhaven, Mich., and sister, Geraldine Bottini, of St. Claire Shores, Mich.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Sept. 23, at Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1822, 226 43rd Ave. Vero Beach.
