Harold S. Topp, 87, died Sept. 16, 2010, at Indian River Memorial Medical Center.
He was born in Holland, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach since 1978, coming from Monmouth Beach, N.J.
Before retirement, he was a communications supervisor for New Jersey Bell. He was a veteran of the Army, serving during World War II as a sergeant in the Pacific. He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and St. Sebastian Catholic Church, where he was an active member of the church choir.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Norma Sommers Topp; daughters, Andrea Topp, Sharon West and Margaret Geary; sons, Gary Topp and Patrick Topp; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sept. 20 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Sebastian.
