Ralph W. Bergstrom, 85, of Vero Beach, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2010, at his home.
Bergstrom was born July 13, 1925 in Rockford, Ill., and moved to Vero Beach in 1978 from Albuquerque, N.M. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Force and had been a truck driver for Bynum Trucking in Sanford, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Mary McKittrick, of Vero Beach; sons, Tracey Bergstrom, of Vero Beach, Sam Bergstrom, of Midland, Texas, and Jim Bergstrom, of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Lynn Bergstrom, of Kentucky; step-son Alan Goldizen, of Brisbane, Australia; step-daughters, Mardi Hill, of Vero Beach, and Kathryn Goldizen, of Malden, Mass.; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
