Clementine P. Lewis, 88, died Aug. 24, 2010, in Milton, Vt.
She was born in Rutland, Vt., lived in Sebastian and was a summer resident of Milton, coming from South Burlington, Vt. She was an active volunteer for the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington, a member of the Verde Mont Button Club and a longtime member of the Catholic Church.
She was a founding member of the Stepping Stones Quilt Club of Sebastian.
Survivors include daughters, Joyce Roof of Woodstock, Vt., Patricia Caverzasi of Tappan, N.Y., and Moe Lewis-Wolf of Barre, Mass.; brother, Peter Abatiello of Boynton Beach; sisters, Mary Thomas of Essex Junction, Vt., and Mafalda Mangeri of Rutland; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Bud” Lewis; sisters, Alice Gianikas and Theresa Beauchamp; and a grandson.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Sept. 11 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rutland, followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery.
