SEBASTIAN — The candidate field for two open Sebastian City Council seats has grown from three to six this week as the final hours count down on the qualifying period for the race.
Those who have filed this week to run for the seats currently held by Mayor Richard Gillmor and Vice Mayor Jim Hill include David DeVirgilio, Damien Gilliams, and Joe Scozzari.
DeVirgilio and Scozzari both ran unsuccessfully for Sebastian City Council last November.
Rounding out the race is fellow Sebastian resident and challenger Harvey Wheeler.
The qualifying period ends at 4:30 p.m. today.
