John W. Jackel, 85 of Sebastian died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at his residence.
He was born May 7, 1925 in Pittsburg, Pa., and was a resident of Sebastian for 16 years, coming from Niagara Falls, N.Y. Jackel retired from Bell Aerospace in Niagara falls, N.Y., as an engineer.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Primrose Jackel; daughter, Ellen Smith, of Sebastian; son, Robert Jackel, of Sebastian; three step-daughters, Sandra Parker, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Hope Andersen, of Ft. Lauderdale, Deborah Pembleton, of Plantation, Fla.; two step-sons, Anthony Masseo, of Woodstock, Ga., Andrew Masseo, of Williston, Fla.; sister Jane Frazier, of South Carolina; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
