Sally Wallace Sibson, 78, died Aug. 9, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 19, 1931, to Howard Samuel and Irene Toperzer Wallace in Roxborough, Pa. She graduated from Roxborough High School and attended Beaver College before marrying Robert Earl Sibson, June 16, 1951. She lived in Vero Beach for 35 years.
Survivors include her son, Richard W. Sibson, D.O. of Orlando; and sister, Barbara W. Morrison of Denver, Colo.
Sally had many loves in her life: her family, her friends, good books, good food, good music, good films and the correct use of the English language. One of her most special loves was the work of the Literacy Services of Indian River County where she shared her leadership and teaching skills.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Sibson; and son, Robert John Sibson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Grace Chapel of Community Church, Vero Beach. Interment will be at John’s Island Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory Vero Beach.
