Kenneth Milton Bryant, 83, Vero Beach

Kenneth Milton Bryant, 83, of Vero Beach, died Aug. 5, 2010 at Royal Palm Rehabilitation Center, Vero Beach.

Bryant was born Nov. 3, 1926 in Winter Haven, Fla., and lived in Lakeland, Fla., before moving to Vero Beach in 1960. He worked at Piper Aircraft Corporation for 22 years. After retirement, he then worked at Publix Supermarket for 14 years as a bag boy. Bryant was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II as a heavy mortar crewman, Division 1607.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Edward Bryant; daughters, Kathy Duncombe and Sheryl Glenn; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Bryant was preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Michaud.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at First Baptist Church, 2206 16th Avenue, Vero Beach with military honors to follow.
