SEBASTIAN — Nearly three dozen businesses will offer up fun, deals and treats tonight during the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Light Up Your Grill Night.”
From watermelon treats and face painting to karaoke and give-aways, businesses are giving back to their customers and hoping to drum up new clients between 5:30 and 8 p.m.
The evening is a summertime version of the Chamber’s Light Up Night, which is held each December.
“Some people just don’t know” where and what some businesses are in Sebastian, said Britney Faulk, of the Chamber.
This year, the Chamber is calling the businesses to go along with a watermelon theme – last year’s was pineapple.
Undercover judges will be traveling to the businesses to sample or view the watermelon, depending on the categories the businesses sign up for.
Businesses can compete for the best taste, best carved, or best watermelon-inspired cake.
