Ellen Marie Gorlewicz, 79, died Aug. 4, 2010, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and lived in Sebastian for 17 years, coming from her birthplace. She was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and a bookkeeper for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange before her retirement.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel DeBlasio, of Wood Dale, Ill., and Robert Gorlewicz, of Chicago, Ill.; daughter, Gerri (John) Finnegan, of Sebastian; brothers, James Murphy, of Montgomery, Ill., and William Murphy, of Lakemoor, Ill.; sisters, Kathy Murphy, Carol Wuthrich and Mary Lou Berger, all of Chicago, Ill.; and grandchildren, Scott, Johnathan, Nikko, and Zachary.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, Southeast Florida, 2701 North Australian Avenue, Suite 100, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in memory of Ellen Gorlewicz.
A memorial mass will be at 10 a.m. on Aug. 7 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church with Father Michael Martin officiating.
