Roger Jack Jeeves, 79, Vero Beach

Roger Jack Jeeves, 79, died on July 11, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

He was born in North Tonawanda, N.Y., and lived in Indian River County since 1972.

Before retiring, he was in the construction and marine industry for 40 years. He later became an entrepreneur with Jeeves Enterprises.

He was a Navy veteran, serving in the Korean War from 1950 to 1954 aboard the USS Oriskany.

He was a member of the Society of the King Neptune and Imperial Order of Mossbacks.

Survivors include his daughter, Colleen Joy Jeeves of Vero Beach; son, Jeffrey Edward Jeeves of Garden Grove, Calif.; brother, Robert J. Jeeves of Homosassa Springs; and mother, Florence Fischer of Rochester, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jeeves; brother, James Jeeves; and sister, Colleen Jeeves Nycz.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
