Edgar L. Camp, 78, died July 14, 2010, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Clarksdale, Miss., and lived in Vero Beach for 19 years, coming from Bergenfield, N.J. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, where he volunteered as an usher. He was a member of the Vero Beach Elks Lodge 1774, American Legion, Ancient Order of Hibernians and Irish American Club.
He worked as a volunteer with the Indian River County Council on Aging.
Survivors include his sons, Edgar of Oakland, N.J., John of Vero Beach and Michael of Wake Forest, N.C.; daughter, Carol Ann DiLorenzo of Lincoln Park, N.J.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Camp; five sisters; four brothers; and one grandchild.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. July 17 at St. Helen Catholic Church with military honors to follow.
