INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The reopening of 20th Avenue between 24th Street SW and 25th Street SW has been postponed to late Aug. 20 according to county road officials.
The road was supposed to reopen by today, but more work is needed to be completed.
The reason for the delay in the reopening was not included in the county notice. The work was supposed to be wrapped up by May 28.
Residents living on the affected street will have access to their homes. Through traffic, however, will have to take the posted detour around the area.
