VERO BEACH — Dyer Chevrolet and Dyer Mazda Subaru announced that the 25th recipient of the Dyer Difference Award was the Substance Awareness Council of Indian River County. This award salutes a 501 C3 non-profit organization in Indian River County that is truly making a difference in our community.
Tatiana and Will Dyer on behalf of Dyer Chevrolet, Mazda and Subaru presented the Dyer Difference Award along with a $3000 check to the Executive Director of the Substance Awareness Council, Robin Dapp to aid in their mission to prevent the use of illicit drugs and the abuse of addictive, mind altering substances. The Substance Awareness Council will be hosting a 5k run on July 3 just prior to the Independence Day Parade in Sebastian to support their vision of a substance abuse-free Indian River County.
