Donald Michael McKenna, 90, died June 23, 2010, at Consulate Health Care.
He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 36 years, coming from Rochester, N.Y. He was an Army veteran, having served during World War II.
Before retiring, he was an assistant vice president for the New York Telephone Co. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and volunteered for 21 years at Indian River Medical Center and as a driver for the Volunteer Ambulance Squad, all in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Bork of Hamburg, N.Y., and Kathleen DiDomenico of Titusville; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Jeanette McKenna.
