Harriette B. Drake, 79, of Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, died Thursday, June 10 at her Fort Pierce residence. She was born Feb. 5, 1931, in Charlotte, N.C., and had been a part time resident of the Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Boone, N.C., areas since 1990. Mrs. Drake retired as a Speech and Language Pathologist for the Miami Dade School system.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia D. Bryant of Vero Beach; son, Gordon E. Drake, Jr. of Palm Beach Gardens; sister, Bettie B. Barkdull of West Palm Beach and 3 grandchildren. Mrs. Drake was predeceased by her husband, Gordon E. Drake, Sr. in 2003.
