Norman Nelson Bean, 90, died June 9, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Birmingham, Mich., and lived in Sebastian for 25 years, coming from Vero Beach, where he had lived since 1977.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Before retirement in 1988, he owned two businesses, the Frame Up and Tropic Furniture Center in Vero Beach.
He attended St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Sebastian for 20 years.
Survivors include his sons, Norman W. Bean of Athens, Tenn., and David A. Bean of Sebastian; daughter, Diane S. Crockett of Sebastian; and brother, Russell Bean of Mesquite, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Corinne E. Bennett; and brother, Jule Bean.
A memorial service will be at a date to be announced at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church.
