Mickey Suzanne Fox, 78, died June 8, 2010, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Vincennes, Ind., and lived in Vero Beach since April 1955, coming from her birthplace. Before retirement, she worked for Southern Bell from 1950 to 1985 and was active in the Telephone Pioneers of America.
After retirement, she worked for Fast Food Enterprises for 12 years. She was a member of the First Church of God in Vero Beach and a church volunteer since 1989.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Fox Colkitt, Zarie Sue Fox Mercado and Jerri Lynn Fox Mullinax, all of Vero Beach; son, Michael R. Fox of Vero Beach: brother, Jon Julian Martindale of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wayne Fox. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. June 12 at the First Church of God in Vero Beach. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. A guest book is available at seawindsfh.com/obit.php.
