VERO BEACH — Longevity Fitness Club owners Steve and Bonnie Pfiester are planning a red carpet viewing party on Wednesday, June 9 for the debut of Bridal Bootcamp, a cable television show featuring Steve. The party begins beachside at Costa d’ Este Resort from 7 to 9 p.m., and continues at the Majestic Theater in Vero Beach beginning at 9 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Growing Healthy Kids program in Indian River County. Tickets for the premiere at the Majestic Theater in Vero Beach are available at both Longevity Fitness locations. General admission tickets are $10, VIP tickets are $20 and Red Carpet VIP tickets are $30 and include a limo ride from the Costa d’ Este Resort to the premiere.
The show, filmed in April, 2008 chronicles 10 brides-to-be willing to endure push-ups, jumping jacks and an obstacle course for a chance at winning a dream wedding. Steve Pfiester led the five-member blue team, competing in various challenges that included wrestling in a 15-by-15-foot wedding cake. Pfiester will share behind-the-scenes tidbits during commercial breaks.
Bridal Bootcamp is preceded by You’re Cut Off! at 9 p.m., a show about nine spoiled young women, who have never known anything but unlimited credit cards and zero responsibility, and who are turned loose by their fed-up benefactors, stripped of all cash and convenience and forced to live like “normal people” in the middle of a recession.
Both shows can be seen on VH1 (channel 44 on Comcast Cable).
