Louis H. Boucher, 78, died May 9, 2010, at his home.
He was born in Fitchburg, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach for 17 years, coming from his birthplace.
He was a veteran of the Army, having served for 23 years during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of Vero Beach Elks Lodge 1774, Vero Beach Moose Lodge 1822, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Deptartment of Florida, Indian River Chapter 494.
Survivors include his daughters, Tina Ransom of Burnet, Texas, and Linda Boucher of Waltham, Mass.; sister, Norma L’Ecuyer of Fitchburg; brother, Russell Boucher of El Cajon, Calif.; and one grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A private family service will be in Massachusetts at a later date.
