Martin Edward Hoover, 81, died April 26, 2010, in Sebastian.
He was born in Hollidaysburg, Pa., and was a resident of Sebastian. He retired from Con-Rail where he worked for 40 years.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He was a third-degree knight in the Knights of Columbus and was active at St. Luke’s parish as an usher and bingo volunteer.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mary; son, Martin Hoover of California; daughter, Kimberly Friedman of New Jersey; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Baldwin; and a son, Harold Hoover.

A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. April 29 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Barefoot Bay. Arrangements are by Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home.
