Faye Wilder Begley, Vero Beach

Faye Wilder Begley died April 25, 2010, at her daughter’s home.

She was born in Corbin, Ky., and lived in Vero Beach since 1959. She was employed by the Indian River Citrus Bank, retiring as a vice president.

She was a graduate of Indian River State College and the University of Florida School of Banking. After her first retirement, she became a Realtor and owned Venture One Realty.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Pilot Club of Vero Beach and Indian River Association of Realtors.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Barkwell; son, Dan Smith of Vero Beach; sister, Colleen Lanham of Corbin; brother, Willis Wilder of Winter Haven; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, F. S. Wilder.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., April 29 in the chapel of the first Church of God in Vero Beach.
