21st St. SW closed at 6th Ave. SW through May 3

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Crews have shut down 21st Street SW at 6th Avenue SW for utility line repair work. The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. May 3.

In the meantime, drivers will have to use the posted detour route to get around the closure.

Humane Society advises pet owners to prepare for cold

VERO BEACH -- With Treasure Coast temperatures set to dramatically drop this evening and remain chilly throughout the week, the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County is urging pet owners to protect their animals and offers the following tips: Bring pets indoors.
