Art show at Loggia to benefit Children’s Home Society

VERO BEACH-Loggia on the Beach, the elegant home and garden store located beachside in Vero Beach, is featuring the works of local artist Pam Smith, with a special tribute to Children’s Home Society, during their upcoming Art Show & Sale, Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24.   All proceeds from the sale of Smith’s paintings will support CHS’ Youth Transition Center. In addition, a portion of all store sales from the weekend will be donated to the Youth Transition Center as well.

“We are happy to feature Pam’s work while supporting the Children’s Home Society,” says Sandy How, owner of Loggia. “Pam uses a strong pallet and color layering to create her impressionistic style.  A contemporary, edgy movement is felt in her human figures, while her landscapes have a softer motion.”

Pam Smith’s work was most recently on exhibit at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City.  She describes her work as colorful and full of joy…spontaneous.

The Treasure Coast division of the Children’s Home Society serves more than 9,000 children and their families each year in Okeechobee, Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties.  CHS is not a governmental agency and must rely on the support of individuals, civic groups, businesses, etc. for the funds to give these children the chance to be safe, healthy and prepared for life.

Loggia At The Beach is located at 2900 Ocean Drive in Vero Beach.  Store hours are 10 am to 5 pm.
