Richard “Bruce” McKinney, 76, died April 16, 2010, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Yonkers, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian since 1987, coming from Chester, N.Y. He was a retired police officer for the Town of Ramapo, N.Y., He served in the Army.
He was a member of the Lions Club and First Presbyterian Church, both of Sebastian. He was a District Grand Lecturer of the order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Ruth I. McKinney of Sebastian; and brothers, Alan McKinney and John McKinney, both of New York.
