Lars-Henrik Ottoson, 87, died April 4, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
He was born in Bromma, Stockholm, Sweden and moved from Key Biscayne to Fort Pierce in 2003 and to Vero Beach in 2005.
He was a journalist in the fields of television news and radio, newspaper and also produced literature. As representative of the BBC in London, he reported from the trials in Nuremberg, Germany. He was public relations manager of Roland International in Miami and Frankfurt, Germany; co-founder of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Florida; and was elected The Swede of the Year in 2004.
He was a member of the Explorers Club and the Swedish Genealogy Society of Vero Beach and a member of The Swedish Church in Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Ottoson of Vero Beach; sons, Peter Ottoson and Lars Ottoson, both of Sweden; daughter, Lillibil Grass, also of Sweden; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. April 18, at the home of Lars and Linda Ottoson, Vero Beach. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
