William J. White, 89, died April 11, 2010, at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born in Seneca, Wis., and lived in Vero Beach for 41 years, coming from Arlington Heights, Ill. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of American Legion Post 39, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his son, Donald White of Lexington, S.C.; daughter, Laurie Rose of Vero Beach; stepdaughters, Patti Moyers of De Funiak Springs, Peggie Lou Eveskcige, Paula Stevens, and Pamela Briggs all of Vero Beach; brothers, John J. White of Tomah, Wis., Donald J. White of Fort Pierce, Paul O. White, Gary T. White, and James F. White, all of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia White; brothers, Aloyisus and Raymond White; and sister, Laura Mae Healy.
