VERO BEACH — The Vero Beach Chamber Orchestra will present its final concert of the season at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center.
In keeping with the orchestra’s policy of providing the public with affordable access to classical music, the concert is free and open to the public.
The program includes Rossini’s Overture to The Italian In Algiers, Classical Symphony by Prokofiev, the Flute Concerto #1 by Mozart (featuring St. Edwards School senior Eric Willett as soloist), and Symphony #1 by Gounod.
The orchestra, now in its second season, is conducted by Page Howell, assistant band director of Vero Beach High School and the musicians are Vero Beach professional musicians, teachers, and talented high school student musicians.
A free will offering will be accepted at the concert.
