Bobbie L. Jones, 63, died April 5, 2010, at North Broward Medical Center, Hospice Unit, Deerfield Beach.
He was born in Atlanta and lived in Lauderhill, coming from Indian River County. He attended the public schools of Indian River County and went to Broward Community College majoring in computer science.
He was employed as a truck driver for a private company.
Survivors include his son, Brian Jones of Apex, N.C.; daughters, Melissa Wallace of Jacksonville, Lisa Fair of Bayville, N.J., Tiffany Jones of Lakewood, N.J., Jennifer Jones of Roselle Park N.J., and Erica Jones of N.Y.; sisters, Linda Foster and Lena Kaye Clark, both of Vero Beach; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Martha Adderley Jones; and a brother, Jerry Wallace Cox.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. April 9 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel, Gifford.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. April 10 at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Gifford.
Burial will follow in Gifford Cemetery, Gifford. Arrangements are by Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel. A guest book may be signed at stonebrothersfuneralhome.com.
