Alma Grace Miller, 88, Vero Beach

Alma Grace Miller, 88, died April 6, 2010, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce.

She was born in Glen Morgan, W.Va., and lived in Vero Beach since 1973, coming from West Palm Beach. She was a stenographer for the Social Security Office in Vero Beach, West Palm Beach and Beckley, W.Va.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marjorie A. Clark, Ruth Bowling and Dorothy Briguglio; and brothers, Adam Junior Miller, William Miller and Howard Miller.

Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St, Stuart, FL 34997.

A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. April 10 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach, with Pastor Derrick West of the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach officiating.

With the sudden death of Sebastian River High School student Jake Beecher still fresh, family, friends, teammates and coaches continue to come to terms with the tragic crash that took his life.
