Molly North Smith, 87, died April 2, 2010, at Indian River Medical Center.
She was born in Winnipeg, Canada, and moved to Vero Beach 40 years ago, coming from Long Island, N.Y. She attended Gloucester School of Art in Gloucester, England.
She was a veteran of the British Women’s Land Army during World War II. She worked 25 years as a manager of Avon Products in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Baffino O’Higgins of Miami Beach; son, Paul Baffino of Vero Beach; sister, Joan North and brother, John North, both of England; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be in Vero Beach at a later date.
